Designed in conjunction with ACE Mentor Chicago, this addition to a current school in Chicago focuses on providing a green and open space to facilitate learning at a school of the future. The building features a timber façade and a steel and timber internal frame. It sports a variety of different rooms aimed to address lacking features in the current Lindblom Math & Science Academy, such as art, lab space, and a larger auditorium. Dynamic and flexible spaces for both sharing and focus exist throughout the building, providing various locations for different learning styles and needs. 

A wooden canopy frames the entrance into the school. Upon entering the space, students are greeted with a large lobby and various huddle spaces, filled with glass windows that allow light to flood the space. The heart of the school contains a tree and central spiraling staircase. The rooftop and backyard of the school have green spaces and learning areas to continue education in the natural environment.
